The MTI Test Drive is the only program where you can get the experience of driving an 18 wheeler tractor trailer rig without having to get a learners permit or complete your Air Brakes course first. MTI’s Test Drive uses the L3 Systems Full Motion Driving Simulator to provide Test Drive students the unprecedented experience of driving a Big Rig.

Driving in the simulator is completely safe and allows you to get a feel for whether or not you have what it takes to manage one of these rigs on the highway and in city traffic. While you are getting familiar with the experience of driving a tractor trailer we will be assessing your ability to be trained to properly handle one of these rigs as a full-time professional driver.

At the end of the course you will have a much better idea of your potential to become a truck driver and, more importantly, you will have a good idea whether you want to become a truck driver.
